Our studio

Our studio in SoMa, San Francisco

Need a place to shoot? Use ours. It's a concrete loft at 855 Folsom St with big windows and a lot of daylight, right in the middle of the city. We set up the cameras, sound and light before you get here, so you walk in and start recording.

Many looks

One studio, many looks.

It's one loft, but it doesn't shoot like one. A bright interview by the windows, a warm podcast corner with the floor lamp, a desk setup for YouTube, a dark set with our own lights at night. Podcasts, interviews, launch videos and founder content all fit here, and we can move between setups in the same session.

The space

Concrete, daylight and room to work.

The studio is a loft with concrete walls, tall windows and plenty of plants. There's enough space for a full podcast set with four or five cameras, and still room for other setups around it, like a talking-head corner with a teleprompter or a spot for product shots. It looks like a real place, not a backdrop, so it works on camera without much dressing.

Day or night

One room, two very different looks.

During the day the room is bright and clean, close to a modern office, which suits launch videos, interviews and anything corporate. In the evening we close the blinds and switch to our own lights, and it turns into a darker, moodier set for podcasts and YouTube. With the lighting we have, we can build pretty much any look your brief needs.

How a session works

Walk in, record, and leave the edit to us.

01

Plan

A short call to agree on what we're shooting, the look, and the script or question map.

02

Arrive

The set is lit and the mics are ready when you get here.

03

Record

We work through everything on the list, with time for retakes.

04

Deliver

Edited videos, clips or raw files, depending on what you booked.

Studio vs. renting a room

You leave with finished content, not raw files.

A room rental gives you space and gear for a few hours, and you still leave with raw files and an editing backlog. A session at our studio comes with our crew, and we can do the edit too, so what you get back is ready to post.

FAQ

Studio questions.

Can we rent the studio without your crew?
No. Every session includes our crew, cameras, lighting and sound. It isn't a room-only rental.
Where is the studio?
At 855 Folsom St in SoMa, San Francisco, CA 94107. Sessions are by appointment.
What can we shoot there?
Video podcasts, launch videos, YouTube videos, founder interviews and short personal brand content. If it's one or a few people talking to camera or to each other, the room is set up for it.
Can we get a day look and a night look in one session?
Yes. Tell us before the shoot and we'll plan the light so we can switch between them without losing much time.
Can you shoot at our office instead?
Yes. We bring the cameras, lighting and sound to your office or another location.
How much does a studio session cost?
It depends on how long you need the room and what you want back: raw footage, a finished edit, or clips too. Tell us your plan and we'll send a custom quote.
